FBLA will meet for Club Day on Friday in Coach Osborne's class in room 108. Only paid members are to attend.

Don’t forget our challenges for this week, as we combat bullying with kindness and love! 
Challenges for this week:
Make friends with someone you don’t know at school!
Give someone a compliment like “I like your outfit!” 
Invite someone you don’t know well to sit next to you in class or on the bus.

Did you know that 4-H exists on 6 continents, the only continent without 4-H is Antarctica? There are over 6.5 million 4-H members in the United States alone making it the largest youth organization in the nation!
Don’t forget we are collecting no-slip socks for a local nursing home. You can turn them in at the collection box in the media center.

Any girl interested in playing basketball must have a physical by Monday, October 21st to participate.  Please see Coach Belcher if you have not already signed up with her.  Conditioning this Thursday 3-4:30.

There will be a meeting this Friday during club time for all those interested in SEB Swim team. Meeting will be held in room 440 in the gym.

9th Graders!!!  You should have received a field trip form from your 2nd block teacher. We will be taking a trip on November 7th to Ogeechee Technical College to visit various businesses and industries in Bulloch County. Forms are due by Friday, October 11th! Please turn in completed forms to your 2nd block teacher. If you have questions, see Mrs. Holder!

It is Ga PRE-K week at SEB.  The ECE classes and the little jackets are hosting a Llama Llama Pajama drive.  Cohort grades are encouraged to donate money in your first block classes.  Money will be used to purchase new pajamas that will be donated to Children in need.  For each dollar that you donate you will receive a red cut out shirt to be placed on the grade poster in the commons area.  The grade that raises the most money will receive points towards the spirit stick on Friday.

Make sure you dress up this week for homecoming!   The days are:
Thursday is Tropical Thursday (dress up in your Hawaiian or any island attire)
Friday is Fanatic Friday (Spirit Day)
Classes are collecting points for dress up participation, best hall, float and other competitions!  Help your class win!
HOSA members, we will be going to GSU Armstrong campus, to tour Health Science programs on Thursday, Oct. 24. Permission forms are due by Monday, Oct. 21. We have 30 slots available.

HOSA will be visiting Westwood Nursing center to paint pumpkins with the residents on Wednesday, Oct. 30th. Permission forms are due Friday, Oct. 25

HOSA members may apply for the Prudential Spirit of community award and scholarship; deadline to apply is November 5. Must apply at this link

HOSA tee shirt orders are being taken through Oct. 10; cost is $15.00. Please see a HOSA officer, Mrs. Pye, or teacher webpage for more information.

Softball will be selling Chick Fil A chicken sandwiches Today thru Friday in the Commons from 3 pm to 3:25 pm. They will be $4.25. Help support your Lady Jackets as they prepare for the state playoffs.

New Ebenezer’s Haunted House needs more actor volunteers on Fri. & Sat., Oct. 25th & 26th from 7:30 to 10:30 PM.  This is a great way to earn community service hours.  If you would like to volunteer, please email Ashleigh La Salle at before Mon., Oct. 14th.

It’s Tech Fair Time!  If you are interested in participating in the Tech Fair, please see all the information on our school web page.

Underclassmen and Senior Make up pictures will be October 21st. This will be the LAST chance to have your picture in the yearbook. 

JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  If you are planning to play, cheer or coach in the Powderpuff game on Thursday, Oct 10th, you need to see Mrs. Olliff in room 305 for a permission form and to pay your $5.  

Twirling Club Upcoming Meetings/Practices in the Pre-K Room:  Thurs. 10/10 3:05-3:25.

Letter jacket orders and sizing will be available on October 29th during all lunch shifts.  Eligible players are those that have participated for 2 years at the varsity level of the same sport.  Forms are now available in the front office and gym.

Anyone interested in attending the FCCLA Fall Leadership conference on Nov. 6 & 7, need to see Mrs. Lovett in room 114 to sign up.  The cost is $75 and the money and forms need to be turned in no later than Thurs. Oct. 10th.

Football game on Friday at home with Jenkins

Softball on Wednesday at home for the 1st round of the state playoffs

Volleyball on Saturday, the area 1 Region Tournament, location and time to be announced.
