SEBHS students competed in 4-H District Project Achievement:  Cade Burke – 3rd place in Senior Performing Arts General; Joleigh Butler – 1st place in Senior Dairy Foods, will advance to State 4-H Congress this summer; Whitley Gatch – 1st place in Senior Poultry, will advance to State 4-H Congress this summer; William Gatch – 1st place in Senior Wildlife & Marine Science, will advance to State 4-H Congress this summer; Mackenzie Hoffman - 1st place in Senior Environmental Science, will advance to State 4-H Congress this summer; Tyler Hunter - 1st place in Senior Beef, will advance to State 4-H Congress this summer; Katelyn Johnson – 4th place in Senior Safety project and Xander Smith – 3rd Place in Senior Sports project

Book Club will meet on Friday during Club time in the media center.

The Miss SEB pageant deadline has been extended to Friday.

Shadow Day students are reminded to bring your signed Liability Waiver forms to Mr. Powell in Room 104 by Friday, February 14.

The Black History Month Trivia of the day is: In 2008, who became the first African American President of the United States? He also graduated magna cum laude in 1991 from Harvard University’s law school, where he was the first African American to serve as president of the Harvard Law Review.  Go to the SEBHS homepage and click on the Black History Month Trivia link to be entered for a treat from your school counselors! 

It’s National Random Acts of Kindness Week! Continue your random acts of kindness, because it does make a difference in our school, our community, and our world!  Kindness Quote of the Day- “Every act of kindness counts!”

This week is FFA week!   Dress-up days are Friday- red/ pink (Valentine’s Day)

American Red Cross blood drive will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 9:00 - 3:00 PM in room 112. Students must be at least 16 years old and return parent permission form (regardless of age) in order to donate. Permission forms will be available in the lunchroom and in room 112. All faculty and staff are encouraged to donate to help meet the critical shortage.

Tryouts for sideline cheer are March 2, 3 & 4 in the Field House from 3:30 to 6:00PM; Competition cheer tryouts will be March 9 to 12 in Field House from 3:30 to 6:00PM.  There will be a Parent Meeting in the auditorium on February 25 at 6:00PM (after pageant practice).

HOSA members who are interested in working at SEBMS baseball Diamond Days tournament on Feb. 28-29th need to see a HOSA Officer or Mrs. Pye to sign up.

Bulloch County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the 2020 High School Art Contest.  Students can pick up a flyer from the media center with all the details and entry form.  The information can also be found on our school web page.

Girls’ Basketball on Friday in Albany for the 1st round of the State Tournament.
