·      Reminder to students:  no headphones or earbuds are allowed in the hallways, lunchroom, common areas and classrooms due to safety reasons.  If seen, headphones and earbuds will be taken and returned after school.  

·         The SEB Swim team won the Bulloch County Invitational Swim meet last week. Scoring a total of 709 points. Southeast Bulloch Girls placed 1st with 448 and the boys placed 2nd with 261. The top point earners were: Olivia Earl, Nyla Griffith, and Drew Robertson for the girls, and Shay Murphy, Colin LeBlanc and Jack Nemec for the boys! This is the first time SEB has ever defeated Statesboro in Swim!

·        HOSA members will be touring Augusta University/Medical College of GA on Thursday, February 15. Parent and teacher permission forms are due back by Thursday, February 8; there are 30 slots are available on a first come/first served basis.  Please see HOSA Officer, Mrs. Pye, or Mrs. Pye's website for details.

·       Talent Show practice will be held today through Friday from 3:30 - 5:00 in the auditorium. You may still turn in application form today during practice. The Talent Show performance will be this Friday, January 19; doors open at 6:00 pm with show starting at 6:30 pm. Admission is $5.00.  All money raised will benefit Irelyn Rose and diamond blackfan anemia research.

·       The Buzz In Café’ will be selling muffins, sausage biscuits and candy today thru Friday during homeroom.

·         Girls soccer tryouts are TODAY from 6pm-8pm on the practice field.

·         Mrs. Todd will hold try outs on Wed Jan 24 during tutoring time and on Thursday Jan 25 after school for the  Domestic and International Extemporaneous Speaking for the Regional Literary Competition.  
Mrs. Todd is looking for TWO Different students – gender, age or experience is not of importance!  All are welcome to try out!

·       Game Changers will meet in Mrs. Haaf's room TODAY at 3:25. All members please plan to attend.  Also, there is a mandatory training for all members on Saturday, Jan. 20th.  See Mrs. Haaf for details.

·        The next Beta Club meeting will be on Wednesday, Jan. 24 in the auditorium after announcements.    

·        FCCLA will be going to the Capital on Feb. 15th. If interested,  please pick up a permission form from Mrs. Lovett in room 114.

·       HOSA is taking orders for Krispy Kreme donuts, certificates, BOGO cards, and coffee until January 23. Orders are due on January 29; donuts will be delivered on Feb. 1. Order forms are available in room 112 and on Mrs. Pye's teacher webpage.

·      Reading Bowl practice TODAY after school until 4:30 in the media center.

·     Basketball on Friday at Johnson High

·    Swim Meet on Saturday with the Savannah Arts Academy at the Chatham County Aquatics Center

·    Rifle Team meet on Thursday at home with Statesboro
